WW II G.S.T.P 15 jewels Pocket Watch with military/aviators strap c1939 Working.

This is a fabulous and ready to wear recently serviced and fully working World War II general service pocket watch, set in a modern high quality leather handmade, first/second world war style military/aviators wrist strap.

The pocket watch has G.S.T.P marks on the back, these initials stand for General Service Temporary (or Trade?) Pattern. Also on the back you can see  the military Broad Arrow and the service issue number Q3467.

The case has a used but good look with a little scratching and tarnishing in places which comes with age, but has a very clear crystal (glass).

The face of the pocket watch has black numbers on a white background and luminous paint on the quarter hours.

The overall condition of the face is superb with no crazing or cracking, and the hands are also in very good condition.

The pocket watch movement when wound runs nicely and seems to keep good time, I've had the watch running for a few months now with no problems.

To keep the pocket watch in good running order I suggest a regular service as I can not guarantee the movement.

The modern high quality real leather handmade strap allows you to wear your pocket watch as an everyday watch.

(You will be noticed).

The strap itself is interchangeable, you can insert other pocket watches from 48 mm to 52 mm.

The wrist strap is approximately 29cm long and is 100% genuine leather.

Please take a careful look at the photos as this makes part of my description.
